Jerry S. Stern, M.D. was born in New York City, New York. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and New York University School of Medicine. After completing a medical internship and residency at Boston City Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts he went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Boston VA Medical Center, Boston University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Stern is presently managing partner of Gastrointestinal Specialists.

Mark L. Finklestein, M.D. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Yale Medical School. After completion of an internship and medical residency at Boston City Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts he went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Tufts University affiliated hospital program. Howard A. Salomons, M.D. was born in New York City, New York. He is a graduate of Brandeis University and Baylor College of Medicine. After completion of an internship of medical residency at Boston City Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts he went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Salomons is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Kurt A. Slye, M.D. is a graduate of University of Virginia and University of Virginia School of Medicine. After completing a medical internship and residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center he went on to complete a fellowship at Brown University, Rhode Island Hospital in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and he is presently in practice with Gastrointestinal Specialists at 35 Summer Street, Taunton, Mass 02780, (508) 821-4100.

Andrew D Stone, M.D. is a graduate of Columbia University and received his M.D. degree from University at Buffalo School of Medicine. After completing his internship and residence at Tuft’s New England Medical Center he went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Prithvi Sreenivasan, M.D. earned her medical degree from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in India, and a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She continued her training in internal medicine through Yale University at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, where she also served as Chief Resident. She then completed clinical fellowships in Transplant Hepatology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, as well as in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Norwalk Hospital, also through Yale University. Subsequently Dr. Sreenivasan practiced gastroenterology in New Haven, Connecticut, where she was also an attending gastroenterologist at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She has taught internal medicine residents and gastroenterology fellows at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Sreenivasan is well regarded for her personalized care of her patients, and understands the importance of the doctor patient relationship.

Dr. Sreenivasan treats all general digestive and liver disorders and is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. She is an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease. Mitesh S. Bhalala, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Rochester and New York University School of Medicine. After completing a medical internship and residency at the University of Virginia Health System he went on to complete a fellowship at New York Medical College in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Dr. Bhalala is presently in practice with Gastrointestinal Specialists at 35 Summer Street, Taunton, MA 02780, (508) 821-4100.

Edward Belkin, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University, after which he graduated from University of Massachusetts Medical School. He stayed at the University of Massachusetts for his Internal Medicine Residency as well as Gastroenterology Fellowship. He then went on to Maine Medical Center, where he completed a fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Belkin treats all gastrointestinal and liver related diseases. Amirah N. Khan, M.D. received her undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, after which she graduated from University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and went on to complete her Gastroenterology Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible for Gastroenterology. Dr. Khan treats all gastrointestinal and liver related diseases. Teresa Fatemi, PA-C  is a Massachusetts native who received her undergraduate degree from Westfield State University in Movement Science. Prior to PA school, she worked as an Emergency Room Technician and Nursing Assistant in labor and delivery. She achieved her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England in Portland Maine, and is currently NCCPA board certified. She has a comprehensive education in general medicine and, clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She develops excellent rapport with her patients by implementing trust and compassion, while still maintaining a professional demeanor. She is presently in practice with Gastrointestinal Specialists at all four locations (Brockton, East Bridgewater, Taunton and Middleboro), (508) 588-6700.

Linesary Cezaire, CNP is a graduate of Regis College (Weston, MA) with a Master of Science in Nursing. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau international honor society of Nursing. Prior to receiving her degree, she worked as a nurse in the Gastroenterology Departments at Beth Israel Hospital (Boston, MA) and later, South Shore Hospital (Weymouth, MA). Currently, she is pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Regis College.

Christine Corallino, CNP  received a dual BS in Dietetics and Biochemistry from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN in 2011 and worked as a nutritionist. In 2015, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, where she worked as a RN at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Gastroenterology Department. In 2017, she received her Master's degree in Nursing and became board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner in July 2017 also from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Charlestown, MA. She worked briefly in outpatient geriatrics before starting with Gastrointestinal Specialists in July 2018 doing inpatient hospital consultations.
